Radical Back On-Track At First Official Test

Competitors in Radical’s two UK championships got a first chance to test on UK soil this year, when the first official test for the Competition Car Insurance Radical UK Cup and Quaife Radical Clubman’s Cup took place at Snetterton yesterday. With a packed paddock, it was an opportunity for many racers to get a first taste of new machinery, and 12 new-for-2010 cars took to the track during the day’s Radical-only track sessions. The 2010 Radical Nevada Cup winter series kicked off this weekend at Almeria, Southern Spain, with 17 racers joining Radical for testing and racing in the winter sun.Almeria’s tarmac rollercoaster, deep within the Andalusian mountains, demanded a lot from the drivers for a quick lap time. Radical formally unveiled its new sponsors for the popular Clubman’s Cup and European Masters racing series at last weekend’s Autosport International Show, held at the NEC, Birmingham. Radical’s new SRZero electric prototype racer attracted huge interest on its launch at the Autosport International Show this weekend, paving the way for a single-make electric racing series. Autosport International 2010: Day 2

It's the second day of Autosport International, and once again Radical has been pulling in the crowds with its wide range of products. Today, Lord Drayson, Minister for Science and Innovation, visited the stand to talk to students about the SRZero project. A former Radical racer himself, Drayson now competes in the Le Mans Series, and was hugely enthusiastic about the Radical product and ethos. Crowds Flock To Radical for SRZero Launch

The doors of Autosport International 2010 have only been open a few hours, but Radical’s bigger, brighter stand is already attracting overwhelming interest. At 09:30 this morning, the SRZero electric racer was formally unveiled in front of the gathered media, by Radical co-founder Mick Hyde and Racing Green Endurance project manager Alex Schey. After a brief overview of the project, attention has now turned to the launch of Radical’s 2010 international racing series’ including the new Radical Central & Eastern Europe Open.
