Radical bucking trends in UK racing

Forty-six Radicals and over sixty drivers will be competing at Rockingham Speedway this Saturday in the first rounds of the Radical Clubman's Cup and the Radical UK Cup

Despite poor grids in most other UK race series the Radical Clubman's Cup has a twenty-six car entry, headed by last years Autosport Golden Helmet winner Jonathan Wright.

The Radical UK Cup has a twenty car field starring Le Mans-winning Legend Andy Wallace driving an SR8 with regular Radical driver Roger Green.

Last years winner, Derek Johnston teams up with Jonathan Wright, and Radical co-founder Phil Abbott blows the cobwebs off his helmet in the works SR3 Supersport.

Other Radical regulars include Tony Freeman, Duncan Williams, Ross Edwards, Paul Steele, Richard Fearns, Colin Noble, Terrence Woodward and Simon Garmston.

Even bigger grids are expected at the next rounds at Spa Francorchamps and Brands Hatch.
